AI consulting

AI consulting that turns 'we should use AI' into a ranked, costed plan

AI consulting services help a business decide where AI and automation will pay back, what to build first and how to run it safely, before any money goes into a build. Safock's consulting is for owners and operations leaders at SMEs and mid-size firms who are under pressure to use AI and have no ranked plan yet. We map how work moves through your business, score each use case on return and effort, and hand you a roadmap you can build with us, with another team or in-house.

/ The problem

What this fixes

  • 01

Pressure to 'do AI' without a plan

Boards and owners want AI on the agenda, but nobody has mapped which processes would benefit, what it would cost or how to measure success.

  • 02

    Pilots that never reach production

A proof of concept impresses in a demo and then stalls, because it was never connected to real systems, real data or real owners.

  • 03

    Tool sprawl

Teams sign up for separate AI tools that don't share data or rules, and the business ends up paying for overlap with no control.

/ What we build

AI consulting, built for your systems

  • 01

    Opportunity assessment

Interviews and process mapping across teams to find repetitive, rules-based and knowledge-heavy work where AI or automation helps.

  • 02

    Use case ranking

Each opportunity scored on time saved, cost, risk and effort, so you start with the ones that pay back fastest.

  • 03

    Architecture and data review

Which systems hold the data, how clean and reachable it is, and the architecture that connects AI to them safely.

  • 04

    Build vs buy advice

Where an off-the-shelf tool is enough and where a custom agent or integration earns its cost.

  • 05

    Roadmap and governance

A phased plan with milestones, owners and success measures, plus rules for data access, approvals and model use.

/ How it works

The detail behind it

How our AI consulting services run

We start with short interviews with the people who do the work, then map the processes in detail: the systems they open, the decisions they make and where time goes. From that map we list candidate use cases and score each one.

The output is a written report and a working session with your leadership: the ranked use cases, the recommended architecture, a phased roadmap and the first project scoped in enough detail to start.

  • Stakeholder interviews and process mapping
  • Ranked use cases with effort and return
  • Architecture and data readiness review
  • Phased roadmap with a scoped first project

How we score each use case

Every candidate is scored on the same criteria, so an exciting idea and a dull one compete on equal terms. The top of the list is usually a frequent, rule-heavy task whose data already sits in a system, because it is cheap to build, easy to measure and low-risk to hand to software.

  • Hours spent on the task each month today
  • What an error or a delay costs when it happens
  • Whether the data sits in a system the AI can reach
  • The risk if the AI gets it wrong, and whether a person can review the output
  • Build effort and expected running cost

Governance for data, models and approvals

A roadmap also needs rules your team can follow. We write down which data may go to which AI providers, which actions need a person's approval, how prompts and models are versioned, and who owns each system after launch. For GCC clients, Saudi PDPL and data residency go on that list from the start.

Advice from a team that ships

Safock builds and runs its own AI and automation products, so the advice comes from production. In Mavick, our AI operating system for textile factories, every write to a live system waits for a person's approval. In Bollard, our procurement software for multi-site operators, controls are enforced in the database and the audit trail cannot be edited.

If you want a quick start, our free AI audit is a 30-minute call that ranks what to automate first. Consulting takes the same question across more teams and systems.

/ How we work

From first call to a system your team runs

  1. 01

    Discovery

We start with your workflows, goals, and constraints, so we solve the problem you actually have.

  2. 02

    Proposal & architecture

A clear scope, timeline, milestones, and system design, with honest pricing before any build starts.

  3. 03

    Agile delivery

Short sprints with regular demos, so you see working software early and can steer as it takes shape.

  4. 04

    Launch

Deployment, optimization, and security hardening are included. Nothing ships unless it is safe and secure.

  5. 05

    Support & growth

30 days to 3+ months of support after launch, with long-term maintenance available as you grow.

  6. 06

    Your team, enabled

Documentation and training so your people can operate and extend the system on their own.

/ FAQ

Questions buyers ask us

Do we have to build with Safock after the consulting work?

No. The roadmap, the architecture and the scoped first project are yours, written so any competent team can deliver them, including your own developers. You can ask us to build the first project, since we will already know your systems and data, but it is not a condition of the engagement. If you choose another team, we hand over every document and process map we produced.

How is AI consulting different from the free AI audit?

The free AI audit is a 30-minute call that ranks what to automate first, based on what you tell us about your operations. AI consulting goes further. We interview the people who do the work, map processes across several teams, review your systems and data, and deliver a costed, phased roadmap with the first project scoped in enough detail to start building.

How much of our team's time does AI consulting take?

We need short interviews with the people who do the work, a walkthrough of the main systems, sample documents or exports, and one sponsor who can make decisions and unblock access. Interviews are scheduled around your operation, and most of the analysis happens on our side between sessions. Your leadership joins a working session at the end to review the ranked use cases and the roadmap.

What do AI consulting services cost?

Cost depends on how many teams and processes are in scope, how many systems we need to review, and whether you want the first project priced as part of the work. A review of one department is a smaller engagement than a company-wide assessment. After a first call we propose the scope and send a fixed price, so you know the cost before any work starts.

Will you tell us to buy a tool instead of building one?

Yes, where a tool fits. If an off-the-shelf product, or a feature in software you already pay for, covers a use case, the roadmap says so and explains why. We recommend a custom build only where your data, your rules or your volumes need one, and each recommendation lists the trade-offs in cost, control and lock-in so your team can weigh them.
