Question 1 of 10
/ What it measures
Five areas every AI project depends on
- 01
Processes
Write down the steps of the one process you want to automate, including the exceptions. An agent can only follow a process someone can describe.
- 02
Data and systems
Pick the system that holds the data for that process and check whether it has an API or a scheduled export. Connecting it usually comes before any AI.
- 03
People
Name one person who will own the system after launch, and give them a few hours a week. Most AI projects stall when nobody owns them.
- 04
Rules and approvals
Agree which data may go into AI tools, and which actions need a person to approve before they happen. Two short rules are enough to start.
- 05
Business case
Estimate how many hours a week the process takes today and what an error costs you. Without a baseline you cannot tell whether automation paid off.

About the scorecard
What is an AI readiness assessment?
An AI readiness assessment checks whether a company has what an AI project needs before money is spent: a process someone can describe, data a system can reach, a person who will own it, rules for data and approvals, and a known cost to beat. This scorecard covers those five areas in ten questions.
How is the score calculated?
Each of the 10 questions has four answers worth 0 to 3 points. The total is converted to a score out of 100, and each area is shown as a share of its own maximum, so you can see which one holds you back. The weakest area gets a specific first fix.
Do you store my answers?
No. The scorecard runs in your browser and your answers are not sent to us. If you choose to discuss your score on WhatsApp, the message only includes the score, the band and your weakest area, and you can edit it before sending.
What should I do with a low score?
A low score usually means the first step is process and data work, not AI. Writing down how the work runs and getting its data into one system often pays off on its own, and it makes the later AI project smaller and cheaper.
